Russian buyers all time take up the position that grey and black colors, on the store shelfs, is a demand created by supply. Marketing statistic agree with this. But not me, I can not believe in this. We have just a few sunny and bright days in Winter, it’s not a good reason to say no for color pleasure. I think it goes from diffidence, beget by question “Is it possible?”. Many years our parents wore only grey and black, because of no outstanding from crowd. To follow the crowd – was the main responsibility of Soviet Union citizenry. But now, when we have new generation, born in a different country. Why we still have this grey&black; mould?
I can’t understand it.

However, we have some of desperado designers, who create juicy winter collections, in contempt of all statistic and stereotypes. The fashion show of one of them we visited last Friday.

There wasn’t a trivial shapes or boring materials. Every next model, I wanted to stop and turned around, to take a look more closely at fabrics and textures. Even the space was matched by colors and mood more than it could be.
Such as this brand work, such brave people free from the stereotypes, they do fashion. Because, fashion is always tomorrow, not yesterday.
