For me and for Ira, Moscow Fashion Week started with Alena Akhmadulina fashion show. She is one of my favourite Russian designer, and see her new work was great pleasure for me. Amazing dresses, fur coats and accessories. Especially bags and geometric belts!
Her heroine, she is from the end of 70-th, big fur hats, knitted sweaters with geometric patterns as well. I remember my mom’s fur hat, and remember her belts, stretch ribbon belts with fantastic clasps.
Here at the Alena’s show we can see the same stretch ribbon belts, but the clasps are geometric, like they want to say “Hey, I’m not from past, I’m from future!”
Alena play with the elements of our past, with associations so professional!
Of course, the quality is on high level in this brand. Because when you combine different kinds of furs, match prints, mix textures and materials you need to have comprehension about quality.
She is may be the one of the serious ready-to-wear Russian designer now. May be because of it I was so nervous, that take just a few pics. I was deep in the mood of the show.
Thank you Alena!
